This prestigious award is presented by Newsweek and Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider. The awards list was announced on July 30th, 2025, and can be viewed on Newsweek’s website.
In an era of informed decision-making, it is increasingly important for patients to make well-founded choices about which doctor to consult for their specific condition. To support this process, Statista and Newsweek have partnered to provide a comprehensive resource: America’s Best Plastic Surgeons 2025.
Plastic surgeons were awarded in six cosmetic surgery procedures: Breast Augmentation, Liposuction, Facelift, Rhinoplasty, Tummy Tuck, and Eyelid Surgery. The list is based on three data sources:
- Online survey by state: Over 8,400 votes for plastic surgeons were collected and analyzed for each cosmetic surgery procedure from thousands of medical experts with knowledge of plastic surgery (doctors/surgeons, plastic surgery clinic managers, and medical professionals).
- Quality Score: For In-State recommendations, participants were asked to assess the quality of care (e.g., consultation, complications, follow-up care, outcome) for each plastic surgeon.
- Certification: Plastic surgeons received 5% towards their total score if they are certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
Based on the results of the study, Dr. Chow is honored to be recognized on Newsweek’s list of America’s Best Plastic Surgeons 2025.
