I am a local product of the area. I grew up in San Francisco, went to the local schools. I did majority of my training here in San Francisco UCSF, which is a medical center here. I am board certified in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, plastic surgery, and otolaryngology, head and neck surgery. I started out as having a goal of being a head and neck cancer surgeon and with my training in having experience with head and neck cancers and patients such that I would, I changed my goals. I had noticed that whenever I was doing a lot of reconstructive surgery, I had a lot of satisfaction in doing that. It is sort of shared happiness between the patient and myself. I like when my patients are happy, and I am happy that they are happy.
