Albert W. Chow, M.D., and the staff at his San Francisco center serving Walnut Creek, Danville, and surrounding areas are dedicated to providing plastic surgery patients with the highest quality treatment and the safest, most comfortable medical care available. Our commitment to you begins when you make your initial call for information and will continue throughout the duration of your treatment under the care of our cosmetic surgeon and staff.
Dr. Chow has a skilled, experienced staff that works as a team to make your plastic surgery experience as satisfying and successful as possible. When you call for a consultation, you will be greeted by our receptionist, Cassandra Hart, who is able to answer any questions you might have about our staff and the treatments and procedures featured at our practice serving Danville, Walnut Creek, and surrounding areas. She will also be happy to schedule your initial plastic surgery consultation. When you arrive for your consultation, you will be met by Cassandra, and you will be asked to provide general information about your health. This information will be useful in helping Dr. Chow to customize your treatment around your specific needs and goals.
Following this, you will meet with Dr. Chow in a private consultation room to discuss your goals and discuss your concerns. He will then conduct an initial examination and take photographs of the areas to be treated. With your goals in mind, recommendations and expectations are discussed in complete detail, including what to do in preparation for the surgery and what to expect in your recovery. Computer imaging will allow you to preview what might realistically be expected from the surgery, which will help you make a more informed decision before proceeding with any procedure.
Following your initial consultation with Dr. Chow, you will meet Lindsay Pettit, our operating room coordinator who will assist you in scheduling your plastic surgery on a day that best fits your schedule. Lindsay has over 20 years of experience as a Registered Nurse and over 15 years as a Nurse-Midwife, which makes her uniquely able to answer any questions you might have about your upcoming surgical experience. She will go over pre-operative and post-operative instructions with you, as well as the costs involved in your surgery. During this time, she will also discuss any paperwork, consent forms, prescriptions, and other relevant documents. She and Dr. Chow are also available to discuss skin care treatments available at our center serving Danville, Walnut Creek, and surrounding communities, including our line of Jan Marini products, collagen injections, and BOTOX® Cosmetic injectable filler.
On the day of your surgery, you will be greeted by Cassandra and Lindsay, a pair of familiar, friendly faces who will help to calm your nerves and prepare you for surgery. You will then meet one of our four board certified anesthesiologists, who average 15 years of professional experience and who have concentrated their careers on aesthetic outpatient surgery. You will also meet Christine Murphy, Dr. Chow's operating room nurse who has over 20 years of experience in plastic surgery. All of the members of Dr. Chow's surgical team are committed to making your plastic surgery experience as safe and comfortable as possible.
Our commitment to you does not end once your surgery is complete. We are dedicated to helping you through the post-operative period as well. We will keep in touch through regular phone calls to make sure all is going as expected and to answer questions that may arise. In addition, we will schedule regular office visits for you until you have recovered fully.
